I’m Quinten Epting, a Security Engineer at Pellera Technologies. My path to tech wasn't linear. Before I was writing code, I spent years in Law Enforcement and the Military. That operational experience gave me a distinct perspective on security—I know how adversaries think because I’ve tracked them in the real world.

I bridge the gap between traditional security operations and modern software engineering. I don't just manage vulnerabilities; I build automation tools using Python and Go to eliminate manual grunt work. Whether it's orchestrating Tenable workflows or developing custom OSINT applications, I focus on building security solutions that are fast, efficient, and actually work for the people using them.

I am currently focused on Vulnerability Management and Threat Intelligence, combining my analytical background with full-stack development to anticipate tomorrow's threats.

When I step away from the keyboard, I'm usually in "dad mode." You can find me coaching my son’s T-ball team or hanging out with my family. I’m also a massive fan of Star Wars and Power Rangers—universes that keep my imagination active. I believe you have to keep a sense of fun and curiosity, whether you're analyzing a firewall log or debating the best Ranger generation.
